5. Contractual Relationship for PR Campaigns and Handling of Campaign Content
- Agreements concerning PR campaigns are formed directly between the user and the shop user; the Operator is not a party, agent, or performance assistant to such agreements.
- The agreement in the preceding paragraph is formed when the shop user approves the user's application on the Service. It is a service agreement (quasi-mandate) under which the user performs PR activities and, in return, receives from the shop user free provision of products or services or other benefits, and it does not create an employment relationship between the parties. After the agreement is formed, the user and the shop user shall discuss the visit date and other implementation conditions on the Service, and if they cannot reach agreement, either may cancel the agreement by the method designated on the Service.
- The content of the agreement in the preceding paragraph is governed by the details of the PR campaign posted by the shop user on the Service and by these Terms, and the user is deemed to have agreed to those details by applying. Matters individually agreed on the Service take precedence over those details.
- For each PR campaign that has been concluded, the user shall carry out the PR activities in accordance with the campaign details, and shall not, without just cause, fail to carry them out or receive the benefits without posting.
- The user grants the shop user permission to reproduce, screen, and publicly transmit posts and other deliverables created under a PR campaign, within the scope of PR indicating that the shop user's products or services were introduced.
- Messages exchanged between the user and shop users through the App are stored by the Operator for the period the Operator determines, and the Operator may view them for purposes such as confirming violations and resolving disputes.
- Posts made under a PR campaign are premised on remaining published. Except where permitted by the Operator or the shop user, the user shall not delete a post once published or deliberately make it difficult to view.
5-2. User Conduct and Removal of Posts
- Users shall take care with their words, actions, and conduct, both during and after a PR campaign and both online and offline, so as not to damage the reputation or credibility of shop users.
- If a user falls under any of the following, the shop user or the Operator may request that the user delete or make private the posts made under that shop user's PR campaign, and the user shall promptly comply:
- The user violates Article 3 (Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces) or Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)
- It becomes clear that the user has committed a criminal act or other violation of law
- The user's reputation or credibility is seriously damaged by the user's words or actions, and the shop user or the Operator reasonably determines that keeping the post published would adversely affect the shop user's reputation, credibility, or business
- Even if the user suffers a disadvantage due to deletion or making private under the preceding paragraph, the user may not make any claim, including for compensation, against the shop user or the Operator.
- If the user does not comply with a request under paragraph 2, the Operator may take the measures set out in Article 6.
6. Enforcement
- Where the Operator confirms a violation of these Terms, it reserves the right to delete the violating content, warn the violating user, temporarily or permanently suspend the account, halt PR campaigns, report to the relevant authorities, or take other necessary measures.
- The Operator endeavors to review user reports within 24 hours and take such action as it reasonably deems necessary.
- The Operator is under no obligation to disclose to users the existence of a violation, the action taken, the reasons for its determination, or other details concerning moderation, except where disclosure is required by law.
7. Report and Block Features
- Where users or shop users find inappropriate content or abusive behavior, they may use the report feature on chat messages, profiles, PR campaigns, and all other UGC.
- By blocking an abusive shop user, users can restrict receiving messages from that shop user.
- Users may lift a block at any time via "Settings > Blocked Users" or another method determined by the Operator.
8. Rights in User-Generated Content
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights in content that users post, transmit, or register in the App (including text, images, videos, profile information, and any other information) belong to that user or the rightful rights holder.
- Users represent and warrant that they have lawful authority to post, transmit, register, and license the content they submit to the App, and that such content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, portrait right, privacy right, publicity right, or any other right of a third party.
- Where posted content includes a third party's name, image, voice, likeness, shop information, or other third-party information, users shall obtain the necessary permission from that third party.
- Users grant the Operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, publicly transmit, display, adapt, edit, and otherwise use such content to the extent necessary for the following purposes:
- Operating, providing, maintaining, improving, and servicing the App
- Improving App quality, analyzing defects, and analyzing usage
- Advertising, public relations, and sales promotion for the App and related services
- Publication on App introduction pages, websites, SNS, press releases, and other media
- Use as usage results, success stories, statistical information, or other marketing materials (where personally identifiable information is included, separate user consent will be obtained)

- The Operator may sublicense to subcontractors and other third parties to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes in the preceding paragraph.
- Users shall not exercise moral rights of authorship against the Operator or the third parties referred to in the preceding paragraph in relation to the uses described above.
- Where the Operator uses posted content in a manner that identifies an individual user for advertising, public relations, sales promotion, or other media outside the App, the Operator will obtain that user's consent as necessary, except where permitted by law or by these Terms.
9. Account Deletion
- Users may delete their account at any time by the method designated by the Operator. See How to delete your LIFT account.
- Even after account deletion, the Operator may retain information about the user for a certain period to the extent necessary for legal compliance, identity verification, prevention of fraudulent use, dispute handling, fee settlement, system maintenance, or other legitimate purposes.
- PR campaigns, transactions, posts, messages, and other usage history concluded or in progress before account deletion may be retained or displayed after deletion to the extent necessary for service operation, protection of the legitimate interests of other users and shop users, preservation of evidence, or other necessary purposes.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy separately established by the Operator.
11. Disclaimer
- The Operator does not guarantee, and bears no responsibility for, whether a PR campaign is concluded.
- The Operator is under no obligation to resolve, as a party, disputes arising between users, between users and shop users, or with any third party.
- The Operator bears no liability for damage suffered by users in connection with use of the App — including interruption, suspension, termination, or modification of the App, defects, communication failures, data loss, or unauthorized access — except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, where the Operator is liable under applicable law, its liability is limited to ordinary and direct damages actually incurred, and it bears no liability for special or indirect damages, lost profits, or damages arising from data loss, except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Where the Operator is liable for damages in relation to paid services, the amount of compensation is capped at the amount of usage fees paid by the user to the Operator in the month in which the damage occurred, except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Changes to Terms
- The Operator may amend these Terms where either of the following applies:
- The amendment conforms to the general interests of users
- The amendment does not contravene the purpose of the agreement under these Terms and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the amendment, the appropriateness of the amended content, the substance of the amendment, and other circumstances relating to the amendment
- When amending these Terms, the Operator will publicize the amended content and its effective date by display in the App, publication on the Operator's website, email, or other appropriate means.
- A user who uses the App on or after the effective date of the amended Terms is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
13. Modification, Suspension, and Termination of the Service
- The Operator may modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the App where it deems necessary, including for system maintenance, incident response, security response, legal requirements, or business judgment.
- The Operator bears no liability for damage or disadvantage suffered by users as a result of a modification, suspension, or termination under the preceding paragraph, except in cases of the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
14. Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights in the App, including its programs, designs, images, text, trademarks, logos, and know-how, belong to the Operator or the rightful rights holder.
